Core Health & Fitness collaborates with Olympic champion, Dame Kelly Holmes

Core Health & Fitness has announced a collaboration with double Olympic Gold medal winner, Dame Kelly Holmes.

Over the duration of her career, Holmes won numerous global medals at Olympic, World, Commonwealth and European Championships. After her Olympic success, she won BBC Sports Personality of the Year, European Athlete of the Year and was honoured with a Damehood from the Queen.

“We’re honoured to be working with Dame Kelly Holmes, a true role model and inspiration in the fitness world who has overcome many hurdles to achieve remarkable success,” commented Eve Rodwell-Davies, EMEA marketing manager.

Holmes experienced many injuries over her athletic career, but this didn’t stop her from competing, and winning in international competitions. She credits using a Gauntlet by StairMaster to help progress her fitness, making Holmes a true advocate of many of the keystone offerings from Core Health & Fitness.

Holmes will now be using the Star Trac FreeRunner treadmill alongside other training to get her back to peak performance (and running) after her latest surgery earlier this year.

She said: “I’m excited to be using the FreeRunner and look forward to getting back to running. Both this and the 10G by StairMaster will really help me get back to fitness.”

The recently launched FreeRunner treadmill has created a revolutionary new indoor running experience. It has a hexagonal polymer suspension system that creates an unprecedented cushion and responsiveness. Initial market reaction has been positive amongst a wide range of users.

Core Health & Fitness will be sharing updates on Holmes’ product feedback and especially the progress of her rehabilitation. Be sure to follow Holmes' progress at this link.
